About Rabbits
Here you will be able to find out informaton about rabbits. The facts are based around if you was going to buy a new rabbit or having a new rabbit.

  • Rabbits are the third most popular pet in the uk. They mainly live in hutches out side that you will have to clean out every week. Rabbits are clean animals they clean them selfs but you can buy brushes and tools to clen them to.
  • A rabbits diet needs to contain different vegtables and vitamins to keep them healthy. The best way to make sure they are getting the right food is to buy food from a pet shop that tells you what it has got in. Give your rabbit a variaty of differnt foods so change their food every so many weeks so they dont get bored of it.
  • Rabbits can get bored sometimes get them some toys. Such as old boxes that they can play with and explore. You can also buy toys from your loal pet shops they will be able to tell you about all the different things that they will like to play with.
  • Rabbits like to run around alot. So why not buy a run for your rabbit this will be placed in the garden it is like a cage but they can run around in. It gives the rabbit time to explore and smell new things.
  • Dont give your rqabbit the following thing head lettuce, onions, refined sugar, corn, potatoes, green beans, rhubarb leaves, or flowers grown from bulbs. These can upset your rabbits digestive system.  Carrots are likechocolate bars to rabbits.  Use sparingly and make the portion small - either a small chunk or a baby carrot.
  • If you have other pets in the house such as a dog or a c at then you will need to get your rqabbit vacinated as they can catch illness's off other aniamls that can lead to death contact your local vets to pick up leaflets to find out more.
