- When you are purchasing a hamster you do not want it to be too young because it might not be ready to leave its mother. You also don't want it to be too old, if they are to old they are not as easy to train and more independent. Always check the condition and activity of your hamster before buying it, if the price is reduced the hamster might be sick or ill.
- Hamsters mostly eat dry seeds and dry food but they sometimes do eat small insects. Dont feed your haster chocolate or anything sweet as this could kill your hamster. Feed your hamster the same time every day and make sure that they have a fresh supply of water every day to.
- Hamsters like to eat some fruits and vegtables it is important to there diet that they do eat fruit and veg.
- most hamsters bite when they are scared. when you are about to get them out let them smell your hand before so they get use to your smell and they know its you as hamsters have poor vision
- To keep a hamster satisfied and healthy, it needs to get exercize. Hamsters should be let out of they're cage to exercize for at least 30 mins a day. A ball would be recomended for rolling around in. Be sure to put him/her away when you are done to prevent escaping
